Home What we do The Ecosystem Automation Our work About Book a data strategy call

The data project you keep postponing may already be paid for.

Funding in Malta for software, analytics and business systems: four schemes, what each one pays, and the official page for every one. We do not administer them. We build what they fund.

Talk to us about funding your data project

Three steps, in this order, because the schemes insist on it.

  1. Scope it on a call

Thirty minutes to define the project and put a written scope and quote in your hands.

  2. Apply before anything starts

Your accountant files it with the scope attached. Work started early is not eligible.

  3. We build once it is approved

Three to four weeks to the first dashboard, invoiced against the approved scope.

Bring the project. We will tell you which scheme fits it.

You will be speaking with Glen Sultana, the founder, not a salesperson. Thirty minutes to scope the work, name the scheme that matches it, and say honestly whether the project is worth funding at all.

Straight answers

Can a data warehouse and dashboards be funded by a grant in Malta?

Yes, where the scheme lists software, analytical tools, cloud computing and data analysis as eligible costs. Digitalise your SME does, at up to 50% of eligible costs in Malta and 60% in Gozo. Micro Invest counts packaged software, software as a service set-up and custom development towards a tax credit. Eligibility is decided by the scheme, not by us.

Do I have to apply before the work starts?

Yes. Under Digitalise your SME, work may only start after the grant agreement is signed. Business Reports for SMEs works the same way. Micro Invest is claimed after the year in which the cost was incurred, but the supplier agreement must be signed before development begins.

Does the grant cover 110 Analytics consultancy fees?

It depends on the scheme. Digitalise your SME excludes consultancy fees but covers the software, data infrastructure, installation and training procured from the supplier. Business Reports for SMEs covers a Process and Systems Review from a registered advisory service provider.

Who files the application?

The company applies, usually through its accountant or advisor. 110 Analytics provides the scope and the quote that go with the application, and builds the project once it is approved. We do not administer any scheme and we do not decide eligibility.

Which scheme fits a company of my size?

Companies with one to fifty employees can use Micro Invest as a tax credit. Micro, small and medium companies can apply to Digitalise your SME for a grant. A thirty minute call is the quickest way to find out which applies to your project.
